In 1997, Eos led a financing for Digital Theater Systems, Inc. (“DTS”), a developer and marketer of digital audio technology. Originally financed by Steven Spielberg and Universal Studios, DTS is a leading provider of digital sound in the theatrical and home entertainment marketplaces. Associated Building Services
In 1999, Eos invested in Associated Building Services (“ABS”), a leading building services company that specializes in servicing owner-occupied headquarters buildings. In 2004, ABS was sold to GCA.
New Breed Logistics
In 2001, Eos invested in New Breed Logistics, a leading non-asset-based logistics business, to provide liquidity to several non-active shareholders and strengthen the company’s balance sheet. In 1997, Eos was the lead investor in DDS Partners, LLC, a roll-up of New York dental practices. The transaction brought together leading dental practices to create the first dental physician practice management company focused on the New York City metropolitan marketplace. Eos exited its investment in DDS in 2005.

In 2002, Eos invested in Clean Earth Holdings, Inc., a leading provider of solutions for the treatment and disposal of environmentally impacted sites and waste throughout the Northeast. In 2001, Eos invested in Symtx, an Austin-based company which provided custom test engineering services for a variety of aerospace, defense, medical, and telecommunications firms. In 2006, Eos sold its investment in Symtx to a strategic buyer.
VeraSun Energy
In 2005, Eos made an equity investment in VeraSun Energy Corporation, which, at that time, was the second largest producer of ethanol (based on annual capacity) in the U.S. VeraSun completed its initial public offering in 2006.
