In 2001, Eos invested in New Breed Logistics, a leading non-asset-based logistics business, to provide liquidity to several non-active shareholders and strengthen the company’s balance sheet. Using its proprietary technology and nationwide platform, the company provided warehouse logistics services that utilized real-time data, which enabled its customers to reduce inventory and other costs throughout their supply chain. New Breed was sold to a private equity sponsor in 2005.
