Brian Young
Brian Young
Brian co-founded Eos in 1994.
Prior to Eos, Brian was a General Partner and co-head of the private investment business at Odyssey Partners, L.P., a position he held since 1986. Brian was formerly a Managing Director of First Boston Corp., where he was instrumental in building the Mergers and Acquisitions Group and headed First Boston’s leveraged buyout department.
Brian has served on the Boards of Directors of many Eos portfolio companies, including ShelterPoint, RMS, Country Fresh, and KeyImpact, among other investments.
Brian earned an A.B. from Harvard College.

Steven Friedman
Steven Friedman
Steve co-founded Eos in 1994.
Prior to Eos, Steve was a General Partner at Odyssey Partners L.P., which he joined in 1983. Steve and Brian Young were the partners responsible for Odyssey’s private equity business. Before joining Odyssey, Steve was a Vice President at Citibank, N.A. in leveraged finance.
Steve has served on the Boards of Directors of many Eos portfolio companies, including Consolidated Analytics, Leaf, and MC2, among other investments.
Steve earned an A.B. and M.B.A. from the University of Chicago and a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.

Mark First
Mark First
Mark joined Eos in 1994 as one of the firm’s first employees and is a Partner.
Prior to joining Eos, Mark was an investment banker in mergers and acquisitions with Morgan Stanley & Co., Inc. beginning in 1987 until 1994.
Mark currently serves on the Boards of Directors of Gulf Pacific, MetaSource, Legacy, South Mill Champs, and Addus. He previously served on the Boards of Directors of Pro Energy, PetIQ, RCG, Country Fresh, Arbonne, Greenstar and CRS, among other investments.
Mark earned a B.S. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School.

Brendan Moore
Brendan Moore
Brendan joined Eos in 2004 and is a Managing Director.
Prior to joining Eos, Brendan worked at Harbourton Enterprises, a family investment firm, where he managed a portfolio of private equity investments. Previously, Brendan worked at First Dominion Capital, an integrated merchant banking and asset management business that specialized in providing capital to middle market companies and was ultimately acquired by Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette Inc. in 2000. He began his career as an investment banker with Schroder & Co.
Brendan currently serves on the Boards of Directors of Consolidated Analytics and MetaSource. He previously served on the Boards of Directors of RMS, Leaf, and KeyImpact, among other investments.
Brendan earned an A.B. from Dartmouth College and a B.E. from the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College.

Adam Gruber
Adam Gruber
Adam joined Eos in 2006 and is a Managing Director.
Prior to joining Eos, Adam was an Associate with Windward Capital Partners, a New York based buyout firm. Previously, he was an investment banker with Credit Suisse First Boston.
Adam currently serves on the Board of Directors of Legacy. He previously served on the Boards of Directors of ShelterPoint, ProEnergy Services, MC2 and Greenstar.
Adam earned a B.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

Craig Gottesman
Craig Gottesman
Craig joined Eos in 2020 and is a Principal.
Prior to joining Eos, Craig was a Director at Brightwood Capital Advisors, LLC, where he provided debt and equity capital solutions to middle market businesses. Previously, Craig worked for Moody’s Investors Service in the structured finance group where he was responsible for the rating and monitoring of collateralized debt and collateralized loan obligations.
Craig currently serves on the Boards of Directors of South Mill Champs and Gulf Pacific. He previously served on the Board of Directors of RCG Global Services.
Craig earned a B.A. from Brandeis University and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Matthew Young
Matthew Young
Matt joined Eos in 2011 and is a Vice President.
Prior to joining Eos, Matt was an analyst with Kayne Anderson Mezzanine Partners, where he was involved in sourcing and evaluating mezzanine loans in support of private equity backed and founder led businesses.
Matt earned a B.A. from Franklin & Marshall College.

Beth Bernstein

Beth Bernstein
Beth joined Eos in 1994 as one of the firm’s first employees and currently serves as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer.
Prior to joining Eos, Beth was a senior financial officer of several broker dealers and investment advisors and was responsible for all accounting, financial management and compliance services. Beth was a senior accountant at Coopers & Lybrand from 1982 to 1986.
Beth earned a B.S. from Fairleigh Dickinson University and is a Certified Public Accountant in New York.

Marisa Aaron
Marisa Aaron
Marisa joined Eos in 2011 and serves as Legal Counsel and Director of Compliance.
Prior to joining Eos, Marisa was a Legal and Compliance Associate at Shumway Capital Partners LLC. Previously, she was a Legal and Compliance Associate at Basso Capital Management, L.P.
Marisa earned a B.A. from Lafayette College and a J.D. from New York Law School.

Matthew Stern
Matthew Stern
Matt joined Eos in 2007 and is Director of Accounting.
Prior to Eos, Matt was an experienced senior associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in the alternative investment funds audit group from 2003 to 2007.
Matt earned a B.B.A. in accounting from Siena College and an M.B.A. from the Graduate Management Institute of Union College. He is a Certified Public Accountant in New York.

Nicole Grossman
Nicole Grossman
Nicole joined Eos in 2014 and is a Senior Accountant.
Prior to joining Eos, Nicole was an Accounting Associate at Fir Tree Partners. Previously, she was a Senior Associate at KPMG in the financial services audit practice.
Nicole earned a B.S. in accounting from Yeshiva University and is a Certified Public Accountant in New York.

Linda Mack
Linda Mack
Linda joined Eos in 1994 as one of the firm’s first employees and currently serves as Director of Human Resources.
Prior to joining Eos, Linda worked with Brian Young and Steve Friedman at Odyssey Partners.
Linda earned a B.A. from Drew University.
