In 2013, Eos invested in Residential Mortgage Services, Inc. (“RMS”), a leading independent retail mortgage bank focused on the Northeastern U.S. market. Based in South Portland, ME, RMS originated conventional, FHA, and VA mortgage loans through its network of over 70 branch offices located throughout the New England and Mid-Atlantic markets. The company focused on “purchase” transactions, sourcing a substantial portion of its loans through referral relationships with real estate brokers and agencies. The company was sold to Guild Mortgage (NYSE: GHLD) in 2021.
